Connecting to the World

“Be such a dope soul that people crave your vibes.” {Unknown}

This morning I heard an amazing meditation led by Oprah and Deepak Chopra and it was all about connecting to the world which is absolutely appropriate in recent times. The centering thought was: Every day I look for ways to live my vision. Since returning home to Ann Arbor, MI I have made my vision to advocate for areas in which there is significant stigma attached. The specific advocacy work is around alcoholism and addiction, domestic violence and sexual assault and mental illness. Every day is an opportunity for me to live my vision of having a voice for the voiceless.

The Sanskrit mantra, Prasada Hum, means my consciousness is a blessing. That was a hard truth for me to swallow, but I learned it in 2014 which you can read more about here. I found out after a dōTERRA leadership training with Tiffany Peterson in Las Vegas, NV that I was playing small to allow others to feel more comfortable around me. And that was being dishonest, inauthentic and definitely not looking for ways to live my vision.

Since I’ve returned home, I have had a burning desire to contribute to the world in ways I had been complacent to before. That still small voice has spoken so loudly to my soul I just cannot ignore it. My passion is the advocacy work I get to do on behalf of the voiceless. Those who have had their voices silenced due to societal stigma, yeah I get to stand int he gap for them. In various capacities. If you’re interested in connecting with me, please email me…I can talk about service work all day long.

This is another reason I love dōTERRA for my life because they believe in serving others and they are clear about how they can live their vision, they serve for the empowerment and betterment of others.
